If I could make them myself by hand, I would, but there is no way they'd come out the same. These are cut and stamped out from a press from a template. They are brushed stainless and then the front is sand blasted in. When it's stamped the bottom is recessed in so the double backed adhesive fits inside the sills, so when it's installed it fits flush on the door sill. I'm only selling these for $15 over my cost to have them done. Just this project to have the rear sills made and designed cost hundreds with the cad design and new templates needed. Also, after ordered they ship next day air UPS.

Yeah i found a cool way, If you want to use stickers then follow what the VW people have done, if you like the engraved look, go to a trophy shop and see what they will do for you. Either way look through this thread to see what you can do, IMO these custom ones on the GTI look 10x better and half the price of Burtmans, just another option to consider.

still haven't got mine... still waiting for Jason to respond to my im's... i was expecting them to be in stock as well but they weren't. so UPS shipping next day air didn't happen...why say its going to ship next day air if there not in stock?

I got a pair of rear sills to match my fronts from Burtman too and it still hasn't arrived. It's been almost a month now.

I would buy these in a heartbeat if they had the actual OEM 4Runner font...maybe something to consider?

This project too a little longer than I was told. I have to have 40+ sets made at ONCE. The guys that do the CAD drawings etc, got behind but these should be in everyones hands next week. They will still ship put UPS express air when they are done. Trust me, I want them bad as well. I've had the front only in my own truck for 4+ years and have been dying to get the rears done. In the past, I had to make 200 pairs to get them done, but do to the economy they factory is letting me do 40 sets, so I did it. 
We can't do the exact 4runner font due to Toyota licensing. I still get compliments on them to this day.

Factory is half way done. The stamp have been made and finished for the etching. Once the production run is complete I will let everyone know. I apologize for the delay, but I'm at the mercy of the factory and will know next time when the give me a time frame to add 2 weeks to it.
EDIT, almost done. I'm really hoping to have these ship next week sometime as they tell me.

Seriously...
I feel the same as LINY in the fact that I would only purchase these if they had the real 4Runner logo. Too bad.
