CV axle nightmare HELP!

Hey everyone, its been months since i've been on the forum and this is a problem I should've put this out there much earlier in my ownership of my 4Runner. After I installed my 3" toltec lift with 1" diff drop, i had to replace both of my cv axles because they were old and the boots were brittle. BIG WHOOP, i expected and initial swap. But over the past 2 years I've replaced my drivers side cv axle SEVEN TIMES. What the hell would cause an axle to go bad every 4-6 months or so. Granted they are napa axles...i figured they would last me longer than that. Does anyone have any input as to what could be the issue here? other parts I should look at replacing so i don't have to keep on doing this? I don't mind it but it's getting to be a pain in the a**. Thanks guys!

Just to be clear, the axles aren't actually going up, it's always the boots. But i've never heard of anyone having this problem so many times...AND it's only the drivers side too.

How do you know they're just going to tear? Your stock sized boots are tearing due to the angle. You buy new, high angle boots. Problem solved. If by chance they do tear again then you have another problem entirely.

I don't know if they're just going to tear. i just find it weird that it's only the drivers side that's doing it.

Post up a picture. I'm lifted and I don't have a diff drop and I don't have any problems with boots. If we can see what's going on it should help.

If you really don't want to worry about it, swap in manual hubs.

I'll try and find some time to get some pics up for you tomorrow. It's just weird since I haven't heard of anyone else having them go bad so often just driving on pavement. Makes me wonder if something's up.
