CV boots...Dealer crap

Its the only way I could possibly do it. The inner is a little recessed into a housing so hard to get good wraps on it. I have some tape though and it's worth a shot. I'm not loosing much and only if I go on the freeway. I was planning to just stay local with that rig. I have another vehicle if I need to go out of town. Still is worth a shot though.

A good wrap can work really well. Make sure and take advantage of the elasticity. It will hold firmly.

I check my truck frequently, so curiosity compelled me to leave it in place to see how long it would last. Verdict? Nearly 5 months including 400 miles off-pavement.

Perhaps a lucky outlier, but I was impressed. I keep a roll in my truck at all times.
