Dash Lights OUT

I tried plugging in my trailer last night while the 4Runner was running (:frusty:stupid, I know) and didn't get the plug straight and saw a spark. Got the trailer plugged in and all exterior lights on both the trailer and vehicle were fine. Step inside and my dash, radio, climate, and info lights were all out. I turn off my headlights, and they all come back on. I haven't checked fuses, yet, but wanted to know if anyone has seen this. I came up empty on my searches.

Turn the little knob on the left side of the steering wheel... sounds like you have the lights dimmed.

They wouldn't work at all if you had a blown fuse.

Same thing here.

I just did this too. Never thought that knob could be turned so far as to completely turn off these lights! Must have accidentally turned it when unloading some things across from the passenger seat out the drivers door. I do dim them on long trips at night too - because it helps me 'see' the road a bit more - and maybe a little easier on the eyes, so I know it's there. I feel stupid - but happy that I don't have to replace a bulb in the dash!
