Hey Guys, so I just ordered a Daystar 2.5" Lift kit (only $135 with coupon to AutoAnything).
I've searched but I can't find a thread with a complete install of any lift on a Trail anywhere. I have a non-KDSS trail (I know, I know) - so, is there any advice on doing this lift?
I've only ever done lifts on Jeep Cherokees (springs in the front, leafs in the rear).
I'd love just a good write up of how to get the coilovers out or down enough to get my spacers on, same with the rear springs. I have coil compressors, but if I can just take swaybars loose, stand on one side and get someone to pull the spring out/put the spacer in, that would be even better.
Anyone running this kit? Still rides ok? I've never done a spacer kit. Able to get it aligned properly with stock UCAs? I'm just doing this while I compile enough cash for the OW 2.5 kit and new UCAs.
