DC area/NoVA meetup?

I can't do Monday or Tuesday next week and figured folks would probably want to do a weekend thing anyways. I don't own one yet, so figured I could trade some brews for the chance to see some up close and get the unvarnished opinions in person. If you all want to hit some trails or something, far be it from me to stop that, but I'm not going to be able to participate.

This weekend at Dogfish? Next Thursday or Friday, say for happy hour, work better?

That sounds great, not sure if we have to have our 4r's present since the Clarendon corridor is not the most "car get together" friendly. So if it is a 4r get together, you probably have a better idea, all I know is Tyson's Corner which is more car friendly. If not a 4r meet, my range is from Buffalo Wild Wings in Ballston, all the way through Clarendon. I will be gone from the area for the rest of the year, due back in the middle of January.

I hardly drive mine except to get groceries, it just sits in the garage most of the time. I would think I would have seen your's out given how much walking around I do, maybe it is just one of those things.

I was thinking the Red Cloud place would be cool, I have not went off-road in over ten years, but I still have that "new car mentality", I do not even want to take it in the rain.
 
Sorry guys as I said earlier it is not possible for me to get over to va during the week I am over there all the time in my company truck but betwee 4 and 8pm it is a20 mile traffic jam, have fun maybe next time.

This weekend did not work for me.

If you are still on, Friday works best so far, unless something comes up.

Well, crap. This sort of fell off the map for me this week. New dog came home this weekend, but I also did a nice job of smacking up my Volvo on Tuesday morning. No injuries and the repair is going to be as easy as I could hope for, but my plans all went in the crapper. Oh, and I'm driving a Chevy Captiva as a loaner. Good Lord...

In any case, I'm up for something, but the holidays are about to throw a wrench into it for me.
 
Haven't been monitoring the forum very well as of late - but I'd be down to meet up as well.

I've noticed a few lifted Limited/SR5 5th gens around my way rolling through Foggy Bottom but never know if they are visiting or are locals! Seems like we've got a ton of new folks joining the forum from the area which is great!
 
Did this ever happen? Just bought my first 4Runner. Stock 3rd Gen limited. Would love to meet up with more experienced folks in the area to check out your trucks, find out what mods you suggest and what shops you trust to do the work.
