DC area/NoVA meetup?

I am in Fairfax, I haven't purchase the 4ruuner yet, came very close though, but I own 1993 Isuzu trooper two door. is other make/models allowed?

How about the parking garage at the Kettler Center (caps practice facility)
on the top level, should be able to have parking spaces and not be bothered by thru traffic, afterwards we can drive through peoples yards to test 4wd.
alas, I am out of town this weekend, but next weekend I could do it.
otherwise, bull run park, or somewhere we can get a bit off road.
but for a short meet up. the ketler center should be ok.

it is very fun to drive, it has 231K on original engine, I rebuild trans year ago, sorry if it off topic.

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen that body style in a two door. My brother had the boxier style. Very cool and different.
I'd also be down with a bull run trip, someone needs to take a hold of planning this.

Anyone take charge and nail down a spot yet? Problem with Nova is how huge it is. What's convienent for some is across the world for others. Personally Bull Run is awesome for me as I'm right down 29 but folks in MD would be in for quite a hike. Not sure what/if they are charging for entrance for non-Fairfax peeps.
I'd be down, just got the Southern SlimLine bumper and ToyTec coilovers put on my TE.
Really depends on time and place though. Hard time of year that only gets worse the later in the month we get. Dare I suggest 2015? Might get more participants with more open schedules.
Subscribed though. Missed the 'Cove this year and would love to make this one.

Ok well I am going to suggest meeting up at either the Kettler center or tysons and heading out to bull run park and driving through the festival of lights on 12-19, that way those with families can drag them along.
or
alternative is to meet up at reston town center (parking garage) where they have an ice rink bars, restaurants all over the place, so you could combine the trip with some other form of entertainment.
Date 12-20 saturday.

such things are always on topic around here. I had forgotten about the 2door trooper. wish they were still around.

Seems there are a few things going on now;
- For the OP post, OP, just suggest a time to meet at the Dogfish bar at seven corners, and one or more people will meet you there with their 4r.
- For a general meet up, I see some offers from Red Cloud to Reston center. To break this up more; a meet for some off-roading and a meet for 4r owners (and those interested in 4r). A poster suggested a date at Reston, might be worth looking into, I have not seen the area.
- Some people may not have the items for Red Cloud that are required.
It is nice to see a few 4r hobbyist up here.
