decklid mod

i did the decklid mod yesterday... kinda...

i removed the side snorkel, and made a hole in the upper left corner about 3 x 3. i didn't notice anything until wot, but it does seem to spin up quicker and sound throatier.

one thing i didn't do was to pull the fuse. i followed the yotatech procedure, but my fuse box is different. i have an 01 sr5 2wd.

my question is will it make a difference whether or not i pull the fuse?

you mean to reset the computer? you should pull the EFI chip under the hood of your car in your fuse box. leave it out for 15 minutes and put it back in.

for what it's worth...

i just ran a full tank with the mod done, and i previously was able to get ~295 miles on 16 gallons. i just did 315 miles on 15.3 gallons... that's with quite a few romps at wot just to hear the little rumble...
