Have used their motor oil, both conventional and synthetic many times with lots of success. Hope this helps.

As long as it says GL-5, you are good to go. Its all pretty much the same stuff.

and now someone who spent a bunch on designer gear oil will get defensive...

exactly - if it's only $5.99 a quart & GL-5 & claims to go 500,000 miles in long haul trucks , why does anyone pay $10 for the Gucci of oils?
