Demello Off-Road Bumper

This one's on it's way to being in a league of it's own. So far it's looking great. However, some good points have been made. I to think that a top-shell should be included. I don't want to cut that bumper up even if a template was included. I also think the factory lights should be incorporated into the bumper. This is a new design and it doesn't matter if everyone else builds them to have aftermarket lights. This is for the new 4runner and it should be stand alone. It's comments like these that fabricators can use to build a better product that in turn people will buy. JMO

KC called me from the shop yesterday and told me the bumper just arrived from paint and they had just finished installing the winch. I also had them install some lightforce lights on it and I dont imagine it taking to much longer. Bumper should be done today or tomorrow.

Haha, I had dropped by monday to drop off the winch and the bumper was still at paint. So I have no pics yet of the finished product. Last thing that needed to be done was to mount the lighforce 170 (3) infront of the grill. He asked me yesteday where I wanted the switch and that is the last I heard. He stated that the bumper was installed and they were making some minor adjustment. I have been refreshing my FB page since demello seems to post pics there first then the other forum. I know, no pics=worthless explanation..

Im running a 10k winch, xrc 10. Lift points will be moved up were you see the DO. Also the winch hole will be raised up there aswell once they go into production

That will look a lot different than what you have here.

I'm sorry I misunderstood. The production piece will not have hi-lift slots but if you talk to Jason he can probably do that custom. The shackle mounts are going to be moved up on the right and left side of the DO and the DO will be removed and replaced with the winch cable slot. I guess some people wanted the DO to be less pronounced and also have the winch mounted higher for clearance purposes (water, Mud) if will look a bit different but the overall shape of the bumper will stay the same. If you are trying to gauge the strength of the bumper yes it will hold but I dont know if a foot will fit. We will see once it is mounted.

"Sorry it took so long. Final production piece if we do it will be slightly different. We would move the shackle points up to the front of the bumper and make them taller. We would also move the winch hole to the front of the bumper and drop the DO to either the bottom right hand corner or not at all but in about 1/3 the size it is now.

Yes, I will take one! Glad to see they got the signals in. Looks like you need to move the washer reservoir, unless I am seeing things.

Thanks, yeah finally got to drive it again. Hopefully the TC project doesnt part me with my vehicle for too long. I am thinking of doing what Jason did and installing the stock length total chaos upper and lower control arms with the DR shock and helper shock next to it so that I do not have to tear up my fenders. I was also talking to King shocks about a setup aswell.

Congrats on the bumper - hope you like it.

Is it just me or does it seem a little incomplete? I mean the wires & such visible under the right side of the bumper next to the CO's. A secondary function of the bumper seems to be to cover up the stuff that's under the hood & it looks like there's a lot hanging out. The ARB bumper pics seem to cover everything (perhaps via photoshop).

Looks ok, but the gaps between the bumper and upper fascia seem quite uneven.
