Would I be correct in thinking that this could go ahead and be welded onto my car and my panhard bar would still go in the stock location and then when I install my lift later on, I just bolt it up to the appropriate hole to make it horizontal again?
Does this fit the 4th gen as well?

Hi there, I haven’t seen an issue with strength, although the factory mount would indeed be the weak point with this kit - it uses thinner gauge steel than I would, but it is tied into the spring mount, so it does have a good foundation.
As far as bringing the body back into alignment; at rest, any approach can do that. The PCK is designed to correct geometry issues that affect handling, in addition to returning the axle center at rest.

It explains the fundamental issues with an extended panhard bar in conjunction with a lift kit better than I can.

So forgive me I'm new to lifting vehicles (only race care stuff). Am I correct in assuming that after a lift 2.5 or greater that the panhard bar get thrown out of wack. So when you install it lifted it's literally shifting the axel and throw off the geometry?
I’ve adjusted the panhard as short as it can go and the driveshaft is still hitting the gas skid and full flex. My next step is to either get a stock panhard bar or go back to the stock mount.
My question for this thread is this. Will I be ok using the Panhard bar with the slight 5 degree bend in it (it can be made stock length) or should I replace it with a stock length straight (no bend) Panhard bar (OEM vs. ICON vs other brand).
