Did I screw up? Toytec order

May have jumped the gun after doing some more reading. I ordered the 2.5 spacers for my 16' TEP with the goal to level it out. Will this raise it too much in the front? I could not find this answer searching and scrolling through the threads. Thanks!

If you're measuring at the rockers, it will be WAY nose high. It's almost level from the factory when measuring at the frame rails or the rockers.

If you're measuring at the fenders, it will still be a little nose high when you put anything in the cargo area.
 
Thanks guys. I am going to do some measuring when I get home and may just go with the full lift. Getting in and out of the garage wth my boat racks up top is the concern with going higher in back too.

To visually raise / level it with that kit you need 2.5 front, 1.5 rear:

2.5 front, nothing rear would look bad, IMO...

how did you notice the ride difference ? cause im about to pull the trigger on the same setup, and was wondering.

Are you asking me?

If so, I notice no difference. IMO, if you can honestly assess your intended use - and if your intended use is daily driver, around town, freeway, maybe a hard packed dirt road - the stuff you'd do with the stock suspension; then the spacers are perfectly fine. Nothing changes ride-wise.

If you plan on doing off road stuff, you certainly can with spacers, but at that point there is a more legitimate reason to get a true suspension lift.

I have a BOSS in the shop ready to go on, but that's not because I had any issues with the ride of the spacers; I just am starting to get into more gnarly stuff and I want a better suspension lift.
 
Stupid question but how do spacers affect ride? Is there a certain rule of thumb to follow regarding using them vs. ride impact?

There was initially some rubbing on reverse, however, I slightly trimmed the fender liner and moved it forward a tad and there is zero rubbing under any conditions now.

No wheel spacers.
