Looking at a limited to purchace , and don't want the 20 inch rims . I assume the SR 5 will fit. Do they have the same backspacing ? What about FJ rims do they have the same backspacing ? Don't want the limited but need the 3rd row seating. I will be doing some mild offroading and the 20" rims will just get scrached to @$%#. Also hate the full time 4 wheel drive of the limited. Why oh why do you put me in this position Toyota.:ybrick: This is one time I wish I lived in the U.S . Then I could get an SR5 with 3rd row seating. Damm you Toyota Canada.

Canadian Trail Edition?

Edit: Nevermind, just saw the 3rd Row requirement.

SR5 wheels will fit the Limited no problem. You could always go the US and buy a T4R.

I'm jealous of the SR5s in Canada. You get the TE exterior (essentially) instead of the fancy SR5/Limited exterior.

I think the 17" "base model" FJ wheel will fit but not 100% sure on the backspacing. I do know that the 16" TRD FJ wheels definitely do not fit -- they won't clear the front brake calipers.

Broke my heart when I had my dealer try to put a display Grey FJ TRD wheel on my front end yesterday and it wouldn't work. I'd already convinced myself to buy either the 2007 Grey versions (a full, NEW set showed up on ebay yesterday) or go with the Replica Black Trail Teams versions that Earnhardt Toyota is selling out of Phoenix...

Sucks, because the grey TRD wheel with 285/75R16 BFG's looked badass (would post the pic but it's too big)

Maybe better stated in a different thread, but I sure do wish TRD would start making some parts (wheels) for the 4R's. The FJ TRD's and Trail Teams are badass, get sweet "special" wheels, and come with BFG's stock (not to mention that Toyota has 4 or 5 stinking versions of a TRD Tundra with different wheels on each) . The 4R Trail gets those "special" silver rims (that I'm not a big fan of) and comes with highway tires. Seems like TRD has always forgotten about making any accessories for the 4R, aside from a supercharger for the old models of course.
