I like the idea of painting the lens as opposed to a film on it. Just my preference i guess.

I saw the direction the group buy was going, no-one wanted to wait to get the extra 5% discount, so I also bailed.

This is one of those rare products that I don't mind paying full price.
(but 15% is still as good as cash which is just as good as money, right?)

twice. Fog is extremely rare in my area because of the weather.

I hate to admit this, but I usually turn on fog lights to supplement
low-beam headlights. Yes, many say this is wrong. I adjust my
fog light beams to almost match the far edge of the low-beam pattern.
I also swap cars with my friend have him drive my car towards me
while I observe the glare coming from my own car's fog lights. I
always make sure there's little or no glare.

Am I the only one who does this?

You're not alone bluecookers, I also use them to supplement headlights (more like cornering lights), the more light, the better'er :thumb:

I do differ with adjustment though, I follow standard light adjustment procedures. Flat surface, vehicle parked 25' from garage door, measure from center of fog light to ground. Take that measurement and measure from ground up on door and mark with a piece of tape. Adjust fog lights (one at a time:loco up/down so top edge of light beam (cut off) does not shine above bottom edge of tape. Would also recommend blocking all additional lights that are on with a rag, makes it much easier to see.

Received my Morimoto XB LED Fog Lights and tested both....install to come at a later date.

They are really bright even during the day!
