Direct Replacement LED Fog Light Assemblies for 2014 & Other 5th Gens

LED fog light bulb replacement

I purchased a H16 led bulb online and they sent me a H9/H11 bulb that said would work in the same configuration so I installed it and holy cow is it bright. I can't imagine driving in traffic and on coming with it on but if I'm somewhere that I don't have to worry about that its stupid bright its great. Has anyone else experienced this setup? Do I have to worry about anything with this?

2018 TRD Pro

I installed the black version morimoto fogs today and I am having some issues.

They initially worked when I was testing polarity, but now they are no longer working after I buttoned everything back up.

At the same time of installing the fogs, I also installed a pair of vLEDs Triton V3 switch back bulbs and Morimoto Load Resistors for them.

Now I have the the following issues:
1. Fog lights no longer turn on
2. DRL does not work
3. Corner lights are not coming on
4. Tritons are not switching to white mode

I have tested:
1. Fuses are all good
2. Double checked all wiring
3. Checking voltage at the fog light switch - I am not getting any power.
4. Checking voltage at the high beam in DRL mode I am also not seeing any power.

What works:
1. High beams
2. Low beams
3. Turn signals

Any advice will help!

When I was installing my Morimotos the 2 wire contacts touched while I was testing the wiring and blew the fuse. Had to track down the fuse in the engine bay to get them to work. Also are you using the separate fog light switch on your light controls?

No I am using all the stock wiring. Definitely checked all the fuses and they look fine. Do you remember which fuse it was in the engine bay? I double checked all the lighting related ones as well as the fog fuse in the driver side kick panel.

I think it was the dome, don't remember off hand. I had to search to find it

What I meant by separate switch is the separate knob on your light switch post on the steering wheel specific to fog light

Ahh gotcha, yeah I've been flipping that switch on and off, but nothing happens. I have also noticed my corner lights and tail lights are not working as well. Brake lights works.

The running lights mode also does nothing now.

Got it figured out. It was the taillight fuse of all things.. didn't realize they're all connected somehow
