hey dirtco, would you by any chance have the part#/supplier of that latch you used for your fridge slide out? i'm getting ready to start figuring out my storage situation and that latch looks pretty stout. still not sure how i wanna set it up but i'm definitely gonna do some sort of slide out drawer system.

I like the latch idea, but why did you place the handle on the outside of the slides rather than on the front face? It looks to me like if the cargo area were really loaded up with stuff, it might more easily interfere with the handle? (assuming more cargo on the side of the fridge, rather than in front)

I had planned on mounting it the way your talking about, but by design it had to be mounted the way it is, it needed to be on the very edge of where it's installed. These pictures show what I'm talking about.

Hahaha, Thank you! No, it doesn't get old, but I am running out of ways to thank people!

It just takes a vision, and a whole lot of practice (and patience). Start out by welding scrap, once you get some decent welds build a cart for your welder or a table, then take on a real project.

Last weekend was the Colorado Toyota Jamboree; it’s one of my favorite events because it’s the one time a year all my friends get together. It’s always a great time!

The 4Runner was pretty much ready to go for the trip, so I focused my time on getting some stuff wrapped up on the trailer before the trip (you can read about that in the trailer thread).

I ran Wheeler Lake Friday, William’s Pass Saturday, and Mosquito Pass on Sunday with the trailer. I didn’t take many pictures or video, but I got a few from some other people on the trip. I’m sure more will surface as people sort through their photo albums and cameras.

First up was Wheeler Lake; it has a couple fun obstacles and a cool lake at the top.

Here is the first obstacle, most of these are just cell phone video’s.

Saturday I ran William's Pass, it's only open in August. Because of this the trail gets really overgrown, and it takes a toll on your paint, but it's worth the trip. It's rocky, muddy and a little bit like being in the old Camel Trophy.

Afterwards I made a quick trip up to Pomeroy Lake.

It's not that bad, you just have to be on the right line. Aaron tried it in the FJ but it just sat too low so he took the bypass.

Sounds awesome, i will most certainly put it on the calendar for next year. The overgrowth down here has done a number on my paint, some things are just worth it!

Looked it up from my town, 7 1/2 hours. Not bad really, I've driven much further to wheel. Ill send Scotty an email to have him keep me in the loop for next year.
