Disable the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) light (with pics)

My spare didn't hold air so my TMPS light was always on. Here's how to disable the TPMS light.

I thought I'd show it with more pictures.

Unscrew (one screw) the cover underneath the glove box:

Pop the cover off, then unplug the connector:

Peel back the tape around the wires:

Find the pink/black and the white/black wires:

Use this "18-14 AWG IDC Terminal T-Tap Splice Tap T-Tap" (Part Number: IDC-184) which you can get for 19 cents from superbrightleds dot com:

Slip both wires together into the Splice Tap and close it:

Wrap it up with electrical tape (optional) and plug the connector back in:
