Distronic parking on new 4Runners?

apologies if this has been discussed, but cruising to work on the NJ Parkway this week i saw a new, silver SR5 w/ dealer tags on it and four, small, black round 'things' spread across the bumper, similar to what you'd see on any vehicle with distronic (or whatever it's called) parking. anyone know? this is just out of curiousity...

i doubt it, probably aftermarket installation. i believe the only backup safety feature option is if you get the nav with the backup camera.

weird. it didn't look aftermarket at all. hmmm

They're pretty popular around here. I've seen lots of cars as well as 4Runners that do not come with them from the factory (Camrys, Accords, Corollas) with these. Some of them even come color-matched to your bumper color so it blends in.

Definitely aftermarket.

I have seen a few 4Runner's with that as well. It is definitely aftermarket.
