I'd just buy a large flash drive/external hard drive and store all photos for later access. Plug in the device and upload photos quickly if you need to share them with others otherwise don't rely on some company to store your photos on a permanent basis

I like things to take care of themselves automatically.

I have my stuff setup pretty nice... everything is seamless, automatic, and live.

I have literally unlimited storage in my OneDrive subscription... way more than I have locally but I can still fit it all on my NAS.
