Do 99-2002 Grille Guards fit 96-98?

I am looking at a center grille guard. Police Style.

The bumpers are different between 96-98 and 99-02 so it may go on fine but will look goofy with the extra space. Heres a picture of my stock bumper on my 01. As you can see it sticks out more that a 96-98

Yeah I know the bumpers arw different. This is a center guard so its not the entire brush guard. Just wondering if it would bolt up the same since it stated it was 99-2002

It probably would, I assume it bolts where the tow hook and the other two recovery points are. Those are they same between the years

Ok cool, exactly what I wanted to know.

It will bolt up and stay just fine but since you do not have a "fat lip" bumper and the grill guard was made for a 4r that does, you will have extra space between the guard and the bumper that in my opinion will look goofy
