Do I need a fan on my trans cooler?

I live in north Alabama and it gets stupid hot here. This is my DD and isn't really used for towing or wheeling so i shouldn't get work too hard. I've got a 70268 on the way but now I'm thinking i should go ahead and grab a fan and thermo switch as well. I'm assuming temp should be kept around 170? Any input would be appreciated.

Where did you mount the cooler?

Unless you are wheeling for long periods of time in real hot weather, I'd say no.

Make sure the 70268 is mounted right up against the condenser and in front of the fan.
