Do you have an iPhone that charges after the 4R is turned off?

Alright so in my genesis coupe, I can actually leave my phone charged even after I turn off the engine. Can this process be duplicated in a 4R? It would be pretty sweet if my iPhone was still charging, even after the engine is turned off in my 4R. I didn't do a detailed search on how or why my genesis coupe can charge the iPhone with the car turned off only because I'm more interested in doing this for the 4R. The coupe has a stock system (infinity) just in case people ask about the brand if it has to do with the brand itself and not the car. Happy posting!

When you turn off the engine, are you leaving it on ACC? If so, then I would say yes, my 4Runner still charges my iPhone.

If in the Genesis it is connected to the stereo head unit and charging and you are looking to do that with your Runner you would have to find a aftermarket head unit that supports said feature.

T4R13 - I do have an aftermarket head unit that charges my iPhone ONLY when my 4R is on. Is the feature dependent on limited head unit brands that can charge your iPhone, even after turning off the 4R? I've always assumed it wasn't but instead something mechanical inside the vehicle.

@415T4R562 - What does ACC stand for? :'( I feel like a newbie for asking that. Maybe I AM INDEED a newbie.

ACC is accessory or switched meaning you only get power with the key turned.

I believe if it is connected to the head unit then the charging is dependent on said head units features and wiring. All head units should have a constant and switched power source so the power is there it's up to the head unit's manufacturer to include the option to charge with out switched power.

I think it stands for ACCessory or ACCessories.

I can charge my iPhone through my aftermarket head unit or an iPhone car charger as long as the keys are set on ACC.
