Old Grouch has a 2003 Avalon. For what's it worth, it has 33,600 miles. About worn out I guess. Put new tires because the original were getting rotten. Put a new battery. That's all.
Almost forgot, 1996 V8 Dodge Dakota. Been a good one. 136,xxx, original except for usual items, tires, battery, etc,.

Mom has an 07' FJ. Its a nice car, but a little boxy for me. Also, the leg room in the back is terrible (but Im 6'2''). Otherwise, the stick shift for the 4WD is alot better than the knob.

Well I have 2 4Runner, plus one 20 year old Previa. All white. When my family goes out for a ride and we ask what car to drive. We cannot exactly say "Toyota" or "the white Toyota".
I have to give the Previa good marks for just being here after 20 years and still running.

I don't own another Toyota, but every person in my family has a Toyota. Mom has a 08 Camry, stepdad 03 4runner, Dad 99 Camry, brother 99 corrolla and my other brother 04 Sienna. We share a driveway with my girlfriends brother and he has a 01 Tacoma. I plan to never own anything but a Toyota.

I turned in my 2005 4Runner when the three-year lease expired, so I don't have a Toyota at the moment; but I feel like I have one because so many friends and relatives own them.
My girlfriend has a 2002 Highlander (fwd) that she bought new nine years ago. It is still kicking with more than 175,000 miles on it! It has the 3.0L V6 from the Camry and it has been relatively problem-free. Her next vehicle - if she can ever afford to get another new car - is probably going to be a four-cylinder RAV-4 or perhaps a Honda CR-V.
Her daughter's boyfriend has an '07 Yaris and is happy with it. My brother has a 2006 Scion xA (made by Toyota) with almost 95,000 miles on it. His only complaint is that it needs a sixth gear for highway driving.
I still have my 2002 Nissan Sentra (bought it new) and have nearly 118k miles on it.....and plan to keep it for a long, long time. My other vehicle is a 2004 Chevy Silverado (bought used more than a year ago) that I like, although it is a bit on the thirsty side.
There is a big chance that I will buy another Toyota eventually, but it probably won't be a 4Runner. Maybe a Tacoma? We shall see. Toyotas are good to lease because their residual values are higher than most other brands.

P.S. My company is going to build a new facility (relocation of my terminal) in the next two years or so, and I will wait to see where it will be before making a decision about what type of vehicle I will buy or lease. Closer to home will mean another truck or SUV. Farther away (more than 25 miles) will call for a more economical car.
