Anyone running 505 rear springs on a 4 runner 5th gen? Wondering if your getting on the lower end 1.25” or the higher end of 1.75”?

It's more common to be on the higher side, as 1.5" would be the minimum lift height on a stock model. All lift heights I list are pretty much the minimum lift height you'll get.

Most in the past on here with 505s quote 1.75" lift with stock weight and 1.5" with 100lbs or a 3rd row seat. Hope this helps.

ordered the 2.5/1.5 kit (black shocks/red coils) on black friday. pretty excited and cant wait to get it in. didn't have enough for the uca's but i'll prob end up buying some in January. i'm in no rush to install yet. i just wanted to get on the BF sale.

I believe the Dobinson UCAs are out of stock until late January. I ordered some during the BF sale and all my lift parts shipped to me minus UCAs. When asked on when UCAs will ship, was told late January.

Any ideas when the long travel shocks will be available for a desired 3" front lift?

Thanks mike! I’m looking to raise the rear at least 1.5” min. I have an eibach 1” in the rear which I’m getting pretty much exactly 1” but looking for just alittle bit more. I can raise the front end up since I’m running Kings coilover. I don’t carry weight in the rear usually so I’m assuming bring the front up to 2.5 and putting the 505 in will giving me about 1/2-1” rake in the rear?

Do you intend to reduce the factory rake (level the 4R) or keep it and change the overall static height?

To reduce rake I would pair C59-302 (assuming no KDSS) with C59-505 rears, but you'll need replacement a-arms to get a decent alignment. Keeping factory rake I would pair C59-300 (assuming no KDSS) with C59-505 rears.

If you have KDSS it might be necessary to go with C59-724 in front and choose between C59-599 (level) or C59-505 (raked) rears. Should be able to get away without new a-arms on that setup.

Front coils C59-302 vs C59-724 what is the difference?

Rear coils C59-723 or C59-325 what is the difference?

I measured my hub to fender all stock 4Runner ORP KDSS 19 1/2 Front and 22 1/4 rear both sides are the same. So this KDSS lean will happen after the lift install? Do I get both front and rear KDSS spec springs or just do the rear only.
I tried to do a search and my head exploded! I don't want to buy the wrong springs.

I like the C59-302 for the front.

Front difference is spring rate. Go with the 302s

The front KDSS coils all run the high spring rate so only a heavier vehicle would run those.

On the rear, if you're doing a lift of less than 2", they really don't lean, so you could use 505s for 1.5".

302s and 505s for 2.5" and 1.5" are the most common setup.

If you want 2" in the rear to maintain most of the factory rake, then go with C59-725.

If a lean shows up after installation, a 15mm spacer can be added to the low side if the KDSS system can't be rebalanced.
