Started out with counting all the sockets I have. I use to have them stored in ammo cans, and the ammo can in my AMAL can, but I was gifted a Craftsman tool box, so I decided to have a truck set and a home set.

Next came figuring out how to do what I wanted.

Started with some wood that I put through the laser engraver. (2) 1/4" pieces glued together:

Then acrylic. Again, through the laser engraver:

And finally settled on 1/8" steel plate, marked with the laser engraver:

Then, drilled and tapped with a 8/32 tap.

Got a few boxes of 8/32 x 1/2" socket cap hex screws; some 3/8" x 3/8" x 4' and 1/2"X1/2"x3' black UHMW rod from McMaster Carr.

Cut the 3/8" rod into 1/2" sections, and screwed it onto the 1/8" plate for my 3/8" sockets.

All plates have been laser marked with appropriate places for sockets. I have my 1/2" deepwell and standard sockets, and 3/8" standard and deepwell sockets. Only one I did tonight was one 3/8", but the rest will be done probably by this weekend.

Really cool shelf system doc! I've got enough mk19 cans that I use for stuff. They take up a bit more room. During this move I've discovered a little more about how much I can put above and below. I love having the shelf though.

Wow. Almost 3 years since I’ve posted in this.

Couple few things, not much. Added some LED light to the headliner. 5 on each side. Red and white.

All but 3 of my whites are out. Damn cheap ass Alibaba LEDs.

Oh well, I’ll get some more.

Fixed the clocking ring and made an adapter. I’ll see if I can find pics somewhere of that.

Made a ladder.

Got some 4th gen rims.

New driver seat and Tactical seat covers.

Next build is going to be the roof rack. Sooner or later.

NEw to forums, what did you do for shock locations?? I want to do the leaf swap to my 97 e locked. Do I need offset shocks like silverados or 1st gen runners for example, one forward one backward? Or can I keep stock locations both on rear of axle

Between the craziness that has been going on at work lately, and the fact that I can’t sleep when I get out of work, I knocked out a dual Jerry can mount.
[MENTION=55891]Bandit Runner[/MENTION], I took some artistic liberties with the design, hope you don’t mind. I still need to get you those roof rack designs. [emoji2357]

Got the 3/16 diamond plate from the scrap bin at my local
Yard, and the ‘cover’ is 1/8”x1.5” from Home Depot.
