Does anybody know what's going on with DR ??
I put some money down on a coilover system around Thanksgiving & now I'm told they're not shipping anything out until late January '08. They don't return calls or answer e-mails. I purchased it from a very reputable store, and they say e-mails from DR sound very fishy. Are they on their way out ?? I really want this system, but don't want to wait any longer. It sounds like the Camburg system is comparable, I might just have to go there.

Try a different vendor and see if they give you the same story. Wheeler's Offroad is a great and available on-line. Ask for Jason, he'll give you the straight poop.

I had to wait weeks for a set of rear shocks. They might just be swamped with demand from the FJ crowd. Odd 'bout the not returning calls part. I called their tech number several times and always got through to someone helpful.

I had the Camburg Coilover System installed yesterday and was told that Donahoe Racing will still support their race team but no longer sell parts to the public.
The shop I went to is an authorized dealer for both DR & Camburg and was trying to help me get the DR system first.
So far, so good on the road with the Camburg setup. I can't wait to take it off-road.

DR is not going under, there is something going on but they are not saying exactly what. Supposed to be a press release tomorrow on there website.

There have been alot of Rumors going around on some sites. But you all can read for yourself.

And just to note, I have been to there shop twice in December for a tune up on my shocks (which are for sale ) and I asked Jeremy what was going on and if they are closing. The answer has always been that they are not closing

They are not answering phone calls or emails to the public yet, but will be again soon.

I was going to buy DR coilover too but what I had told was DR is being bought out.
I thought 'bout buying SAW or Camburg but I want BLACK ones!
Also told that DR never produced Rear Coil Spring (5-2600) and DR Mono-tube rear shock (5-7500) that I wanted to buy for 4runner on their web site.

Hope they will produce them after they settle and I want to buy them.

I checked DR web site and they have changed top page and new brand name called ICON.

I can't wait to see more info...
New logo doesn't look like off road brand but I like it.
