I just replaced my on my 2015 4runner that has 4700 miles on it. It looked like some people who posted theirs at 33,000 miles.

I just ordered one. My A/C blows with a moldy smell. I'm only at 6700 miles but I'm really hoping that it gets the smell to go away.

FWIW for those wondering why theres a difference in the Toyota filters:

87139-YZZ10 = OEM Toyota USA MVP (Market Value Pricing) filter = cheaper alternative to original JDM filter
87139-50100 = OEM Toyota JDM filter = exact original replacement

That's pretty common.

I find that running it without recirc for a while gets rid if it.

Haha, yeah it does. That gave me a good laugh when I read that. This filter was just the start of finding neglect everywhere over the vehicle. One by one, gotta make em right.

Did mine today. I am now a fan of the Puroma line you can get off of Amazon for like $12. Charcoal, fit perfect, flows well.
