Dous's Build Thread Version 2.0

Dous,

Do you have any idea how many amps that frig draws? One may be in my future. That is a score any way one looks at it.

Did you get the sliding rack as well?

They say 2.5AMPs when the compressor is running, which seemed to be every 30-45 minutes for 10 minutes or so. It uses very little power, I left it plugged in all day without running the truck and it started fine. I do have a much larger than stock battery though

I did not get the tray, it is overpriced IMO. I will see what I can put together myself

For somebody who doesn't like mudd your sure in it a lot.

Haha I have to do it to remind myself why I have such a distaste or it

Don't forget the + gears part!

That's what the supercharger's for! In all seriousness it will no longer be my DD, plus I have the 4.30's. I like having the larger pinion for strength. But if I do need a regear I guess I do work at the right place

Granted you have the 4.30's over my old 4.10's, I told myself that the supercharger would supplement my lack of gears with the 35's...

A month later after the 35's were on, I had gears, ha.

I almost want to put a little wager on this one... :becky:

Haha yea I almost did gears when I was throwing in the ARB up front, but I passed. I wouldn't go past 4.88, and it just doesn't seem like a big enough jump to justify the price

So I made a minor purchase today. As some of you may know from my posts a CBI rear was supposed to be my next mod, and wasn't going to happen for a month.

Well CBI posted a bumper on their Facebook last night, exactly what I wanted. Full plate, swingout, no BL, no can carrier, with side tube. For $1200 bucks, saved me $200; I know not a whole lot, but it was enough for me to go ahead and bite the bullet. Especially since there is no lead time. I will have it on in plenty of time for Windrock

Now you won't loathe mud, but come to embrace it.

You are finding some good deals here in the last couple of weeks. Good karma I guess.

Can't wait to see pics.

Looks like my bumper will be here on Thursday....I have the rattle cans ready.

Also I have an appointment at the exhaust shop this weekend to see what the hell the deal is with my exhaust leak, I know it is coming from the headers, just wanna see if they can source the gasket.

If not I guess I will have to get the Doug Thorleys, 700 bucks I don't want to spend.

Would anybody want the OBX's for $100? I will find out what gasket is leaking, you can find them on Ebay pretty easily, I am just out of patience with them altogether.

hmmm...I shouldn't spend any money, but I'm interested to see the performance difference with the bigger OBX primaries.

Hell yea dude, that bumper is gonna look kickass and even better you got it for a good price! Welcome to the CBI club :D
