Understandable reaction but, just so you know, it doesn't come without tradeoffs. For instance, are you okay with running significantly more air pressure?
again, youll have to forgive my ignorance - what would be the issue with running higher psi?
as far as not going with a LT tire at all - beyond just the looks factor of the thing, there are going to be SOME times when I take it off road for mtn bike trails, etc. for those times, id really like the LT tire.
as far as the tradeoffs with on road durability - that's where it gets tougher...
certainly most of my driving is going to be on road - 95% or more. but i also plan on having 5 people + gear in the truck a lot of the time - which means more weight, which i would think (if im following the thread correctly) would mean id want the e rated again.
basically, the long and short of it is id like a tire for daily use, looks plenty aggro, doesnt add too much highway noise, has the offroad performance when i want it, will wear slow on the highway and is plenty durable.
from the other thread, i was pretty sure the duratrac more or less fit the bill.
ive owned two sets of terra grapplers on my prev tundra, and i wasnt blown away by them, they were just okay.
