I LOVE the tires, just wish I woulda went with 285s, my 265s look sorta small after my lift.

Do you have pics? I thought I wouldn't be pleased with the look after lift, but I was surprised with the amount of room and it was visually pleasing to me. To each their own. I guess it also depends on what kind of rig you're wanting to build. Here's a pic of mine with the 265/75's after lift install-

I really like the ride of my Toyo's, but was not happy with them aesthetically. Let's be real, we all care about that.
Because of this, I was dead set on the duratracs in a 285/70/17 when I got my lift in.
BUT THEN Toyo changed up their sidewalls, and now I am torn... I think it will come down to price/weight for me.

Honestly IMO, at some angles the 265 75's look a little narrow with a lift. 
but at other angles they look almost perfect. I get compliments all the time but I also hear people tell me I should have went bigger.
I will go bigger when I can afford to re-gear and do bigger brakes and have another car to drive around but for now, these will do.

Exact same situation I'm in. I hear so many good things about the Duratracs and they look great too. However, the new Toyo ATII's are quite cool looking and they are quite a bit cheaper than the Duratracs....
I just put a set of these on this past sunday. 285s. I had 295/75/16 bfg from previous owner on so my acceleration improved compared to you guys going small to big.
Noise- I hear a hum, but its not annoying or anything close to a mud terrain hum.
Ride isnt too hard, but then again I don't know what to expect as far as ride goes on an suv/truck since this is my first one and Ive owned it for a week.
I was questioning going to 265 but I checked it out with one on and was too small for my taste.
with the 295, for comparison
oh and we (discount tires/americas tire) will in fact have a memorial weekend sale going on, so if you can wait, take advantage of that and the 60$ goodyear rebate. :thumb3:

I paid $881 for my 265/75's (C) with sales tax. Cheaper than the shipping cost. For myself, I don't care about the cost. I just want it done right. This is my baby. I'm buying another Camry next year so I can let my Runner be used for what it's built for. I have a 4Runner obsession problem thanks to you people. I mean that in a good way -

I've had mine just over 3 and a half years and have netted about 27k miles on them and couldn't be happier with them and have been great on and off road.
Do you think you can get 50k or more with 6000k regular rotations? Aces High, I'll be back in the hills in late July! -

Yep. $179 is the per tire price if I bought online with shipping included. I know there will be the installation and such. I keep flopping on the certs. I've always gotten then too, but never needed to use it.
I put on a set of "C" load 265s about a month ago and I'm very happy with them. They look great and hook up great. I might even sell my winter tires come fall since they look like they'd handle the snow OK.
My shortlist was Duratracs, Toyo AT2s, toyo MT and the wrangler MTRs. Decided I wanted to stick with the C class so duratrac it was (and 60-100/tire cheaper than the other options)

The Duratracs used to be on the price level of the Nitto TGs (TG aren't cheap anymore either) but have crept up the BFG pricetag which sucks since back in '09 I got my DTs for $161 a tire and out the door with replacement certs I was only out $860 now that price has ballooned to about $1080 for the same.

I Posted earlier but I have 55k miles on mine rotations every 5k miles untill about 15k mines ago, Ive been slacking. they have an easy 30-40% left still as well. Keep them at proper inflation and keep your alignment/rotations up and you should be able to get 50k+ easy. I wouldn't be surprised if i get close to 70K

I have them in 265, E rated and have about 50k on mine. They were kind of a pain to balance at first and I still have a slight steering wobble at higher speeds. I am not sure if that is because of the tires or another issue. I love my tires and when they are worn out I will be getting the same tires just in a C load rating due to the weight and stiffness.
