Recommendations on the uni balls are dry lubricant, like Tri flow. Sometimes it doesn't get in all the spots and you can disassemble them. Rotate the bearing assembly to get additional lubing in them. I get them turn squeaks at times and it gets rid of them.
On the bushing, recommendations list for lithium grease as it doesn't break down the poly material.

So my uni balls were fine. The issue is with the hard ware that the bolt goes through.
I need to find a place where I can buy this weird wedge piece that is below the uniball and sits in the top of the spindle.
Here are photos of the pieces I need.

Okay Guys - I read this thread and feel like the Ebay UCAs are good enough if you do a little work to get the spacers/washers/bushings set up right.
Does anyone have a link to the most current UCAs with the sealed Tacoma balljoint that is ready to be installed?
Or, should I just get the tough country UCAs?

I believe it is the source of a bad pop and clunk sound I am getting. The uniballs are good and I just replaced the bushings.
That or my Toyota spindle has gone bad but it seems from what I hear that is very rare.

Is it that you don't have misalignment spacers? Or you think yours are cracked or something? Im not understanding what leads you to believe they're causing a clunk or pop. Did you resize the bushing sleeves?

I already bought and installed the camburg style arms off ebay...
FWIW, they seem to work well. Haven't had it aligned yet but I can tell the arms aren't deflecting so badly.
Still kind of wanted the Uniballs though. Just because.

Uniball or Balljoint UCA's for salty, crappy New England life?
Has anyone run uniball arms in New England on a daily driver for any extended period of time? I am not averse to cleaning and maintenance, but want to choose something with acceptable longevity. I would love to hear from anyone with first hand experience running these things. Thank you! Also, it would be sweet to get both types of these Fleabay arms together in order to compare theoretical articulation of the uniball vs the balljoint (off the vehicle)...

A couple members were. And you can't just use steel tubing, it's not strong enough and will rust. Grade 8 is required. And I just called the seller and told them to send me properly sized sleeves, and they did.
Grade 8 of course. I wouldn't throw anything else at my suspension. I ordered mine over the winter. I wonder what my seller will say...
two messages sent and no reply yet. The knocking has gotten progressively worse and its now at the point where its scary sounding to passengers who don't know what the issue is. Also, my bushings have now officially begun to fall apart due to the spacer not being the correct size. Looks like I'm stuck purchasing the Dirt King bushing and spacer kit that everyone else seems to be putting on the ebay uniball UCAs
