Im glad to hear that. I was just out taking a look at my truck again and the bushings are really getting trashed. Going to pull the trigger on the Dirt King kit right now
I placed 3 best offers and each were ignored. I wound up getting lucky and ebay had a $10 off $50 code last week so i grabbed them at full BIN price. Ill just be glad to get rid of this banging sound!

Well last week I started to get some creaking out of the UCA's.
When I went to inspect the bushings two of them were starting to disintegrate.
So last Friday at lunch I called All Pro and for 38 plus shipping they sent four new bushings and the sleeves. They arrived today before lunch through USPS. I was quite amazed.
Just liked to give a shout out to All Pro for excellence customer service.
Hopefully I'll get the old bushings off and the new ones on later this week.

Did you not modify/fix them before installing? Were your sleeves shorter than the bushings?

My inner sleeves were too short. I shaved the poly bushings down to match. It seems like that wasn't a good solution.
They did last: 9ish months, 15k miles, lots of forest roads, and a trip to helena/Glacier NP.

Didn't you have axial play on the main mounting rod/bolt?

There was no play/there was bolt tread left. Also I torqued to 100 ft-lb.
Kept them greased. There must have still been enough pressure on the poly bushings to cause some binding.
If I get around to it tonight I'll start one side.

The one thing that I want to point out and I don't know if specific to 3rd gen is that the sleeve diameter is a little to big resulting in a small amount of play. I don't know if it makes a big difference. Just a thought. I like that they listened and it's flushed. So far it's been great and did very well on black diamond trail at big bear.looks like they listened to the complaints, i ordered mine on Tuesday, got them today and this is how they came.

Can you confirm which seller you purchased from please? Those look better and better. I don't think uniball's will hold up on a New England daily driver, but at this price and level of quality it might just be worth it to go for it and plan on more frequent uniball replacements.

JBA's UCA might be a better solution for you if you feel uncomfortable with the uniball. They have a high range of movement ball joint and aren't too much more expensive than the eBay UCA.

That's what I got. Luckily I have built right on my 4th gen and swapped it perfectly to the ebay uca. Built right sleeve was a little short and kept squaking. It was compressing the bushings. I bought dirt king uca bushing kit for the 4th gen and fit. A little pita but adjusted. Hope they listened in regards to I D
