So, my week is starting/finishing off with a small bang -
While tracking down a new clunk (grrrr SPC...) and an increasing groan,
I gave my driver-side CV a wiggle and I'm quite sure it's the needle bearing.
Hub spins smooth, so I'm holding off on wheel bearings for a bit longer.
I'm going to go ahead and do the ECGS thang, but was wondering if there is
a running "tool share" going on here or anywhere? I know this forum is
getting a little threadbare, but it's the only one I currently frequent, so I'm
asking here first. No biggie if not, but I figured it was worth a shot.
Meanwhile, I get to decide if I want to bother replacing/attempt to
warranty the SPC ball joints that now have ridiculous play in them,
switch over to JBAs - which I wish had a teeny bit less caster correction,
or just SAS the frikkin' thing like I wanted to with my '87 so many years ago!
