Eibach Pro-truck lift

Since installation in March, everything has settled perfectly and the truck handles corners fantastic. Sometimes I forget that I am in a 4runner when cutting corners around town. I did end up having to swap out the set of LT285 Falkens E load due to balancing issues. I am now rolling on 285 Ridge Grapplers (which were successfully road force balanced on the first attempt) and everything is running smoothly. As far as I can tell, no rubbing with the 285 RGs on stock UCAs and with the fender mod - I did have a little rub in reverse with the 285 Falkens. Overall, the kit was a great purchase and I highly recommend it. I have a few trips planned this summer in CO & UT - I will report back on the off-road performance.

Lift installed today on my 2018 SR5 with Method Mesh wheels and Falken P285's. Stance is perfect and like the previous reviews have mentioned - a significant improvement over stock ride/handling.

Eibach adjustable front shocks set to 1.6".
Stock front coils.
Stock rear end.
Firestone Destination A/Ts P285/70/R17

Love the way it rides. Great on and offroad handling.

looks good!..any rubbing

Thanks! The shop pushed the fender liner forward and removed the front mud flaps prior to install so I don’t know if it was necessary. No rub on the body mount at full lock on the street... I guess it’s possible there will be a little at full lock when not on a flat surface. (Running stock UCAs)

What was your total lift hub to fender? I love the concept of the Pro Kit but 2.75” is a bit more lift than I want in the front. How much lift did the 1.6” setting net you with the new springs?

Alignment

Has anyone had a hard time with getting the alignment correct after installing the Eibach lift(set on the lowest setting). I was told I would need UCAs by the alignment shop. I got a print out but I don't remember exactly what it said just remember the right caster was too low. The guy seemed to act like he knew what he was talking about. He said it was maxed out on adjustments. They lined it up best they could, and told me it would drive squirrely which it does. Should I try another alignment shop or just go ahead and order some UCAs? From the reading I've done it looks like no two 4runners are exactly alike and UCAs wont do any thing but make it easier to align and improve the drive.

Thanks,
Nate

Go somewhere else for an alignment.

I'm around 22" in back and 21.75" in the front with this set-up. I didn't pre-measure, so I'm not sure how much lift the 1.6" setting translates to exactly, but I'm guessing it's pretty damn close to 1.6".

I drove mine for maybe 50 miles or so and also took it lightly off road to let it settle a bit before I took it in for alignment. The shop that aligned it seem to know what he was doing. He said it was way off when I brought it in and anyone without much experience wouldn't of got it close. Not squarely, drives straight.
I recommend taking it somewhere else.
