Eibach Pro-truck lift

That would be pretty close to level, IMO.

Honest opinion... do you think dobinsons 1-1.25" spring is a safer bet?

I'll second that being very close to level.

I have my fronts set at 1.6" and my rear end is at 0". I still sit 1/4" higher in the rear when doing middle of hub to bottom of fender measurements.

Perfect stance, IMO.

Thanks. Just trying to figure out if I should go with dobinsons 1-1.25" spring just to be safe. A smidge of positive rake isn't the end of the world but introducing negative rake would piss me off to no end.

What was it that caused this change of heart? Did you get heavier Dobinson springs in the rear and they were too rough?

To get my truck where I wanted it to be was going to cost me another 5-8 g's easily (while I make payments). Factor in costs of additional wear from abuse and use of mods. Additional time under the vehicle cursing my existence.

TBH I'm a disabled vet and wrenching is now not only not fun but physically trying. I'm in pain more then not and it's just wiser that I spend my time, money, and effort elsewhere.

Still plan on camping, shooting, and exploring with the truck. Maybe getting into hunting one day too. Just not as dedicated to going remote and as often as I originally hoped for. Went down this rabbit hole with daily driving race cars years ago and I'm luckily adult enough to recognize the pattern before it's too late. I've been broke since I got out of the military and now (thanks to busting my ****ing ass) I'm finally making good money and I would rather not tie it up in "things".

But yes I do think the eibach coils might be a little softer then the dobbies so it might be nice in the rear. However I have no complaints about my ride quality other then my choice of LT load tires. Granted if I could go back at this point I would have just done the eibach kit as now there are no plans to add weight. Shoulda, woulda, coulda oh well.

In terms of quality a Dobinson spring is never a safer bet than an Eibach spring. I'd be a little worried their spring could lose a little height over time.

Ryan Eibach isn't paying you enough. What a pro ****ing response haha.

I'm just worried about a 1" spring introducing negative rake with 2.5' lift up front. But, I would pay to watch Ryan Vs Mike battle to the death to defend brand honor.

Ha!

Even when we set vehicle on the second second clip, which is a little over 2.8", we never see a reverse rake. Personally I think you will be safe unless you are loaded down with a ton of gear in the rear.

OOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRR wait and get our adjustable rear setup and get whatever height you want :becky:

Since I b!tched so much about the kit taking forever to get to me over the summer, it’s only fair that I come back to the thread and provide my experience with the lift after a few months of use. Simply put, Ryan and the folks at eibach have killed it. The ride quality is fantastic, nose dive is all but gone, and the 4Runner feels more put together going through corners than ever before. I threw a couple of pics up compared to a stock runner and then last weekend after I installed the Prinsu. The fronts are set on the lowest clip and have zero rubbing with no trimming or fender liner modifications on 285 AT3W’s. Can’t say enough about how great the lift is from ease of install to quality.

What's the spring length difference from the T13, this 1" rear spring, and the stock spring? The T13 is slightly lower rate (195 apparently) and lifts 1.5" so I would assume the T13 is the longest. Is this 1" spring any longer than the stock spring or is it the same length just higher spring rate? Wondering because I was going to run this with extended travel rear king shocks and wasn't sure if the length would be too short - I don't know how much extra extension the factory spring can take before it's loose at full droop. This might not even be an issue, but figured I would ask.

Well. When I swapped my suspension, simply measure Eibach spring and OEM, 0.5” deference in hight . Only reason I got 1” lift, higher rate of those springs, and also help a lot with body roll. Stock weight though

Super mild and perfect all in one.

Appreciate this!

Yeah I guess. See. I had a spacers before I threw Kings in there and never did measurements “ before and after “just forgot. 650lb coils up front and 0 preload Should be 2.75” and Eibach 1” spring on the rear. Thanks
