Eibach Pro-truck lift

Just installed. Bottom perch. KDSS truck. 285s. No extra weight. Initial measurements put it right around 1.5" rear and 2.5-2.75 front. Hardly notice the .25" lean. I'll check again in a few days after alignment and settle. Looks pretty level to me. Hope to get some dirt on it Sunday and see how it feels.

How is the rubbing with your set-up? Stock UCA's I am assuming?

Stock UCAs. Zero rub. I had the 285s on for about a month now. I did the bumper trim/liner push before I installed them. With the mud flaps removed there was zero rub. I put the flaps back on and zip tied them back to the body mount bolts and it would rub a little bit turning in reverse or if I hit a bump while turning. With the lift installed I can't make it rub at all. Tires are Pirelli Scorpion AT+. I assume most of the people with rub are running neg offset wheels or spacers.

About two years after install and have my 1st negative. Rear shock boot fell out of place and i had to:
Cut off old zip tie
Move the boot back into position
Fasten a new zip tie to hold it in place.

Unacceptable! Eibach should offer me 50% off their new setup.:tongue1:

For those of you that installed this kit, did you install a differential drop kit and is it needed/worth it? Thanks!

No diff drop. Took the kids camping last night. Several miles of bumpy dirt road to get out to my area, and then some decent chunk to get down into my favorite campsite. Didn't notice a huge difference on pavement (KDSS truck, so it was already stiff) but huge difference on the chattery trail. That road normally knocks my fillings out, but it was significantly smoother with the Eibach kit. I was probably going 10mph faster than usual and it felt great. Was also nice to walk through the chunky spots I use to scrape skids on with no issue. That little extra clearance makes a difference. Super happy with the kit. Super happy I sucked it up and installed it myself. Just ordered a roof rack with the money I saved.

I was curious why you opted for 265 65 at3w instead of 265 70. Is a weight yhing?

I just wanted to keep stock tire size since it's a daily driver. Trying to keep as much MPGs as possible while improving off-road capability.

Sent an Email to Wheeler Offroad yesterday asking if they still expect 2010-2020 4runner kits by the end of March. I was told.....16 plus Tacomas will be in....however...2010-2020 are now pushed to the middle of May....GO FIGURE!

I am pretty sure there are are a lot of people who would like to know and/or understand whats goin on. So much is still being blamed on Covid..

Sent an Email to Wheeler Offroad yesterday asking if they still expect 2010-2020 4runner kits by the end of March. I was told.....16 plus Tacomas will be in....however...2010-2020 are now pushed to the middle of May....GO FIGURE!

Yeah, just checked today myself, very disappointing. Not sure why they don't just say they are backordered on their website and give an ETA. Sure would go a long way to minimize disappointment and less emails/phone calls from people asking for status.

There are videos floating around of the Eibach factory. It's not huge. I'm willing to bet they are running those machines non stop trying to catch up. Not really their fault that all these shops took our money without telling us about the backorders. I waited about 4 months. I would have canceled and jumped ship but nothing else was in stock anywhere without spending $3k+

Anyway, I was looking at new coils to do this, either the Eibach TRD Pro coils (front only) or the Dobinsons (C59-748) front coils for the TRD Pro. DOES ANYONE have any input on these? Eibach offers 1.6" of lift and Dobinsons offers 1".

**Also, i called eibach and they stopped production on their trd pro springs due to a change in design (no, not just the TB for the 21' pros). He mentioned that they are making them slightly shorter for some reason.

I'd like to know which would be the best option? This is mostly for looks and I intend to keep my 265/70/r17 Falken Wildpeaks on. I'm not a big fan of countering the R&D that goes into these vehicles.

I will say that I am confident eibach is doing everything they can do. I am a general and electrical contractor....I am definitely still seeing longer lead times on all infrastructure related products. Manufacturers slowed down and construction has strayed strong. Gotta imagine similar situation with auto aftermarket. Eibach wants to sell as much as they can, its a business.

Did you consider the Dobinsons (C59-748)? Its only a 1" front lift but honestly I think that's all you need unless you plan on upgrading your tire size to something like 285s. The eibach set is at the limit of what the stock UCAs can handle. Thats the beauty of the dobinsons I think. I just cant find ANY reviews or anything else about them.
