I have 881's and 906's. Thought I'd share my experience.

I have that exact same setup except 883's up front, and personally, i like the ride. But if i could, i would switch to 890's in the rear to level my truck out and help with the ride.

Thanks, i just really enjoy the fact that it corners flat and has no body roll, plus it holds weight it the back very nicely.

Springs are only 1/2 the equation, what shocks are you using with them? Stiff shocks = stiff ride, you can't always blame it on the springs alone.

I drive the rover home when I bought it, there's the adventure.
I was going to drive it home on my own in the summer but my uncle decided he wanted to make a trip of it, so we are doing it behind his truck!

Yeah, i wont be going crazy, think i narrowed it down to just OME 906's in the back, new shocks and struts but using the original front coils, and doing new OEM LBJ's. Also am gonna do plugs and wires, air filter, fuel filter, and diff oils.
Painted the Center Caps today and put my old tan cargo liner in, it doesnt match but its the way back so whatever. Gonna pick up some new floor mats from Costco tomorrow.

Why are you keeping the front stock?

If i lift the front it will in 2 months end up being taller in the front than the back, and i dont want to buy 890's. I load the truck up with crap in the back a lot so the 906's end up sitting level with the front on stock front springs. All i want is a decent stance out of this and so it doesnt sag under load.
Minor update. Got some sway bar bushing for the front locally, and threw them on, this 4runner is a breeze to work on, no rust anywhere, no annoying bolts, everything bolted and unbolted like it should, its sweet.
