Check that your crank position sensor connector and camshaft position sensor connector are connected and completely engaged (clicked in all the way). If they are, does your rpm gauge show anything while cranking?Sorta the same issue. Finished the belt and water pump install now the engine just turns over but will not fire up.
Also sorry for waking up a old post. If I need to move it let me know

Prying off the timing pulley certainly could break a tooth if not done carefully. It's been a month, but I seem to recall it coming off by hand without prying. Who knows.
My local dealership's master mechanic confirms having seen the same problem post-timing belt replacement, caused by a broken tooth on the timing pulley.
New crank timing pulley is on, belt all lined up. URD lightweight pulley should be here tomorrow!
All good?I couldn't get the timing pulley off for the life of me. Finally did and pried a tooth off, and then some, definitely had to replace it
