entune 2.1 issues and bugs

i updated my entunes using the file provided by WindomEarles (thanks btw)

i have a 2012 sr5

here are the issues:

-ipod freezes: maybe after playing about a minute of a song, the ipod stops

-bluetooth audio won't play (bluetooth still works for data, i can still use apps like weather, stocks)

-pandora and iheartradio: pandora just returns me to the app screen. iheartradio says "app unexpectidly stopped"

anyone else having these issues or know of a fix?

i also tried downgrading to version 1.8.4, but it won't let me, so i'm stuck with 2.1

Have you tried closing the Entune app and then streaming BT audio? It worked for me

My iheart radio works fine.

Occasional freezing when the phone is connected to Internet.

I'm running iOS 6 too. Things that I noticed was: in the old build of Euntune you could read a text while driving on the Entune screen. The newest verizon of Entune will not allow you to do that. Also as weird as this may sound, my FM radio is working better.

Hmmm, I've never been able to get text messages; I only get a notification that a message was received.

I haven't had any issues (only improvements) but I have a 4s. One thing too is that there are directions with the update. Pretty minor though like start vehicle and wait for the "finish" screen. I have a 4s with ios 5.

Why didn't you all get the update in the mail? Didn't register at entune.com? There's some minor directions with the upgrade.

Yes, I'm registered. Toyota isn't sending them out all at once. I received an email that mine was coming soon, but I didn't want to wait.

You can read it, by hitting the phone button on the Entune headunit and touching "messages" on the bottom of the screen. :

I just got my update in the mail and am a little hesitant to update. Should I do it? I wouldn't think Toyota would send out an update with issues, would they? I have an iPhone 4S with iOS 5.1.1

How are you guys running IOS6? Beta testing?

My advice would be to delete the bluetooth connections on both the phone and the car, delete the app, and start all over again.

I got my USB stick in the mail this week...... Not sure I want to upgrade. I have a iphone 4s and have had no issues at all so far.
