Entune Bluetooth skipping.

Done that many times...still not fixed.
As soon as I restart bluetooth when it starts skipping, it will work fine for that duration until I turn the car off. Turn it back on it starts skipping again.

Get a droid. No skipping issues on my 2015 SR5P. I do notice that Pandora will cut out for a split second... maybe once a week, but thats because my phone's ability to connect to the internet and WiFi are starting to go.

Its an old galaxy S4 far past renewal. I'm holding out for March when the S7 is released.

Having this issue on my 2016 LE with an iPhone 6S. My audio plays fine but my calls are choppy.

Tried deleting both devices from each other and re-pairing with no success.

Seems like this is an apple issue more than an entune issue.

Bluetooth does that. I get the same issues with my Kenwood, Sony, generic Chinese and entune Bluetooth devices. I usually clear up the problem by stopping then starting Bluetooth on my phone.

I have the exact same problem with my 6S. Anyone know how to fix this?

I agree! I installed a 3 port USB hub. Entune recognizes two USB sources, so I can have my wifes’ iPod and mine both plugged in and select either with just a touch of the screen.

That's pretty sweet. I didn't know Entune would recognize multiple USB sources. My previous car did that and it was pretty slick to just be able to switch between my loaded-up old iPod in the center console and my phone.

entune

Hi,have 4rnner 2016 trail.an issue-when somebody call me via viber or Skype, after 10 sec call failed.Do you fellas have any idea for this?

My 2014 with Entune has multitude ENtune problems. I've read the software can be upgraded. Going to be doing that soon.

My 2016 sr5p did this evertime! I would need to cycle my BT or the audio would cut in and out. Phone calls would come through fine. My head unit started restarting randomly so it was replaced under warranty. The new unit has never done it. I don't know if it has a diffrent firmware.

I wish everyone luck fixing this because it BS.

My 2012 TE Premium bluetooth worked fine for over two years, as of about a month ago it drops both bluetooth calls and streaming audio after about 10-15 seconds of use. I recently upgraded entune from 2.1 to 5.1, but the issue has persisted. I beleive it may have to do with the Andriod operating system upgrade on my Samsung galaxy note 4. Will try removing all Bluetooth connections on phone and car and start from scratch and report back. Update, resetting everything did not help, even changed the name of the connection.

This is happening on my 2016 Limited and driving me crazy. Right now I'm just turning Bluetooth off and then on again on my iPhone 6s. I'm hoping for a better solution out there. After reading some of the posts in this thread I removed and re-paired my phone. I'll keep and eye on it to see if that fixes my issue.

I've had the same problem with my 2016 TEP, with my Motorola Droid 2 Turbo.

Lately though, it seems to be working better.

There are still days I scratch my head about how Entune works/does not work.

I noticed that removing the "entune" app from my phone made the bluetooth audio connection rock solid. When I had the app installed it wouldn't connect reliably for music.

Okay I have an update on my issue here. I tried unpairing my phone from the head unit and it seems to be working much better.

Here are the steps I took:

1. Removed my phone from the head unit.

2. Removed the radio Bluetooth profile from my iPhone (used Bluetooth settings and tapped Forget Device).

3. Started the pairing process with the car all over again.

I used to have this skipping issue every day almost every time I got in my car and now I haven't had the issue for the past 2 days.

sort of

I don't have this exact problem, but mine does completely reboot in the middle of driving some times when connected to bluetooth.

Are any of you guys experiencing lag times with Bluetooth? It makes watching videos an impossible task.

I've had lagging in Bluetooth audio in another vehicle but haven't tried in my T4R yet. I typically use the AUX port when using video in the car because of the lag. I'll check out the T4R audio to see if mine lags.

Same issue

Hello all:

Just touching base as I have the same issue. I will try the suggestions and report back. Any progress towards a solution would be appreciated!

Cheers, Steve.

I had both the rebooting and skipping problems.

When I took it in for the 10k service, they updated the software as there was apparently a TSB that mentioned the rebooting. No issues since.

As far as the skipping goes, I updated my iPhones iOS and did the unpairing from the system, and it has not had an issue since reconnecting.

+1. Killed Entune app on iPhone plus got rid of the favorites contacts window on the display. Bluetooth perfect as well as receive texts etc. Finally
