Entune w/ Bluetooth Spotify Issue

Recently, when I try to play Spotify music through Bluetooth, the music will pause and I will have to click play every 5-10 seconds. It only works if I plug my phone in through USB. Does anyone else have/had this issue? Is there something I can do? I've unpaired my phone and deleted Spotify and it hasn't fixed the problem.

Thanks in advance for the help

Not the exact same issue, but I have to turn bluetooth off/on from my phone about every other time I get in the car to get it to quit skipping.

I have an issue, I have a New (Non Explode-y) Note 7. Entune for whatever reason won't connect to the phone almost three times a week. I'm completely updated... Starting to think that the next Toyota I get, will be a non-Entune system, and I'll just put a custom car audio system in.

What phone are you trying to use? Do you have the most up to date versions of both Entune and Spotify on your phone as well as the most recent up dates on the head unit itself?

I have an iPhone 6. I have updated to the newest versions of Entune, Spotify, and most recent update for the head unit.

I believe it's a spotify issue. My 5s stays connected but spotify will pause for no reason. Pandora will do this once in a blue moon as well. Honestly, I don't like spotify, it just seems to repeat songs over and over.

Occasionally I will have connection issues with my 6. I reconnect the phone via the head unit (going to phone in settings and reconnecting) and then this fixes the problem.
I have never had the same issue though with Spotify pausing though. I do download the music to my phone such that I am not using data to listen. This could be part of the reason too.

I keep getting an issue where my music will be sped up and sound like the chimpmunks are singing everything. I have to disable Bluetooth on my iPhone 6s+ and reconnect almost every time I get in my car. Same thing happens to my wife's iPhone 6 when she connects. Both phones and Entune are updated to the newest revision and has been happening since day 1. I plan on switching out the head unit to something that supports CarPlay and Android auto real soon. I just wish car manufacturers would just give up and realize they can't build decent head units

This is bizarre. The only thing I've ever noticed is the screen will blank out for a second, but no interruption of music. Out of curiosity, is everyone using the entune app system itself, or just Bluetooth connection? If I run Pandora or anything I run it right from the phone. And this is my 2nd radio, I've never had issues like this with either. *knocks on wood*

Most of my issues come when trying to stream through a Bluetooth connection with my phone. It's not isolated to one app in particular. It happens with Pandora, Spotify, Music, and Podcasts. I've also had the issue with using an android phone, so it's not isolated to an iOS issue either. I do also have issues when running directly through the apps installed on the head unit. When using Pandora on the head unit I get it where Pandora will randomly disconnect and I have to restart the Entune app on the head unit and my phone.

Mine does this, bt streaming with stitcher and amazon prime music, but is doing about 1/4 as much as before since I got the latest (end of aug) head unit firmware. They are moving in the right direction. disable/re-enable Bluetooth on iPhone and good to go. Will see if my iPhone7 is any different.

I dont use spotify so I cant speak about that but I do stream music and it will pause itself every now and then. I honestly think it's a phone issue (iPhone 6+) more than an Entune issue because my phone does the same thing on my wife's VW. Have you connected another phone to see if the issue persists?
