*EPIC TRIP* Taking my Trail on the Trail!!

Does anyone have a quick reference guide / website where it list how I have to carry my gun? In SC as long as it's in console/glovebox I'm good. I don't have a concealed carry permit and don't want any problems!!

I'm not a gun guy but there are plenty here that will probably provide a better answer. To my knowledge that's going to be subject to state laws. This article looks like a decent basic guide.

[Edit] Here's an article with state by state breakdowns. I'm not a gun guy nor a lawyer so if you get arrested by following one of these articles I'm only liable for a refund of the original purchase value of this post.

If you have an SC carry permit, or for any state for that matter, USAcarry.com. I am not a lawyer and am not suggesting this as legal information, simply suggesting it as a resource.

Per that site, for SC resident permits the blue states are good to go (here's the direct link:http://www.usacarry.com/concealed_carry_permit_reciprocity_maps.html):

You'll also want to go easy on the fire crackers in other states. Definitely a no-no to even have those in some of the dry western states because of the potential fire hazard.

DAY 3

Finally!!! Damn, I have been driving all day I'm tired, sore and ready to sleep. Google is a pain in the ass trying to find a camp sight. Im sleeping in the truck but don't wanna just park on the side of a road!! I found a State Park outside water valley Mississippi so I will stay here

The journey was nice today not quite as beautiful as it was yesterday but still pretty in its own way. Lots of cows, clay, and gravel. Here are the pics from today

Oddly enough there were more paved roads today which was OK it's nice to be able to make up time.

I'm wore out hopefully I can get some decent sleep tonight and not be sore in the am!!

I heard from Smittybilt today and all was well until the lady with the marketing company said based off me talking about them taking 3wks in my YouTube video that she was not going to submit it so therefore I won't be getting a Roof Top Tent to try I think it's kinda BS but whatever!! I was looking forward to that too!!

OH I forgot to mention.

I had to reroute twice today once for a road that was washed away

I may have been able toake it, I don't think so, but I didn't want to risk it

Then there was a road that was completely closed with no way around I didn't get pics of that. The second road closed I came to I went around.

Isn't that where you're supposed to caulk the wagon and float it?
 
Enjoying this as well! If possible in your posts could you tell us each day your starting and ending state and town (or closest town) and approximate miles driven?

I can try that. I have bad ADD and forget ALOT!!! But will try my hardest. I have a GPS that's tracking me may I can figure out how to make it work for me

I'm sure some of the readers will have probably been on several dirt roads you will be taking and could offer advice - if they knew where you were lol. That looks nice!
