Ethanol sucks

Bummer. I was hoping to fill up with pure gas and try it out for a few fill-ups... just to see what kind of MPG difference I would see. Unfortunately, the nearest station with non-ethanol gas is 81 miles away.

Some manufacturers like Honda recomend Top Tier Gas which I like using also. None of the gas stations in my area who have pure gas are on the Top Tier list so I guess I will be sticking with Chevron and Shell using 10% Ethanol.

None except it will increase your mpg and cost more by about the same amount so it really does nothing.

In my opinion you could have negative results using pure gas if it’s Unbranded gas because it may only have Federal and State required additives which according to some reviews are not sufficient to keep your engine in optimum condition.
