Exhaust System

hey guys, i'm looking for a new exhaust system for my t4r. what are some good brands i should look at or certain systems to get a nice loud sound out of it. i don't want it too loud to where its annoying but a decent rumble.

what year 4runner do you have? search the forums there's a a good amount of members here that did different things for they're exhaust. Some replaced the muffler like me and some did a full custom exhaust or some bought a whole cat back etc:thumb3:

RE Exhaust system

I am in the market for an exhaust system as well. I wanted a full catback so I was looking at a Borla dual catback system. Their is also the Gibson catback system, Magnaflow system or just the muffler, and Flowmaster makes a custom system that is by far the loudest. The bolt on kits are expensive compared to going to a muffler shop and paying a quarter of the cost for a well made custom system and muffler. I have narrowed it down to Borla or Gibson. Gibson claims better fuel economy....claims. I remember the debate a few years ago about these claims, not to bring it back to life or anything.

Exhaust

I ended up pulling the trigger on the Borla Dual Catback exhaust. It should beat me home in San Diego. Just in time for me to install it on leave with the Volant CAI.
