Experience w Toytec 3" Lift/Levelling on a LE

Has anyone here installed a Toytec 3" lift/leveling kit- (the one that works with X-REAS) on your LE? (Toytec Part Number FJ3-RSP)

If so, what is your opinion? Would you recommend it? Advice?

first I'm not trying to be a D*** but did you even search there is at lest a 100 Runners on here that are running a toytec lift. with that be said yes I love my toytec lift and have had it for 3 years now.

You're not running the setup that I am referring to - and I don't think that your SR5 had X-REAS.

My question was very specific. Looking for opinions of people who are using the 3" lift/leveling kit that works w X-REAS -(I even gave the part number - FJ3-RSP). It's really a spacer lift, that I believe, compresses the suspension for lift.

I have looked - but cannot seem to find information or opinions whether people like this product - or want to trash it...?

Keep digging. There are a few that are running a spacer lift with XREAS. I know some people prefer to ditch it and go to 5100s all the way around. I can't remember who all is running that particular set up, but the info is out there. Just gotta dig deeper.

Do like all the other people that have gone that route first- just skip it and go straight to swapping out to a new suspension.

I went through your first thread and aside from a few posts everyone was helpful. Trust me, you will know when you have been hijacked. [MENTION=77504]mace.[/MENTION] Gives you a few options above and the second link is especially useful. The reality is many people who go with a spacer lift, XREAS or not, eventually go for the full suspension lift for several reasons.

First Post on here, been lurking for a bit. I was in the same position as you, trying to find information on the Toytec 3" spacer lift.

Eventually I just decided to go for it and get it installed. Had mine lifted for around 3 weeks now, and I am loving it. Rides like stock, slightly stiffer in the rear over bumps, not as much travel as before but it doesn't bother me. I wanted the look of the lift, but I do not currently do anything extreme off-road so it wasn't worth my money to go with the full suspension lift. Here is a crappy picture of mine, all I have for now. Just need to go with larger tires once these wear out.

Honestly I like the aftermarket lift ride better than the xreas. I have not once been sorry I ripped it out and went to the 5100 series toytec lift. I will say, if I was doing it again, I'd have the Icon setup. Xreas runs more a car-like suspension. Swapping out suspension makes it much more sure footed. Just my opinion. However, each person likes a different thing so if you like the ride, don't intend to off-road and simply want "that look," go for it!
