Looking to add an exterior 12v outlet. This would be used to run the awning lights, charge phones while at camp, etc.
Originally I was thinking of putting it in the shroud over the radiator, but that A) means I have to pop the hood, B) the cord for the awning lights doesn't reach that far.
So I'm thinking about the trim piece at the corner of the windshield (see picture). It can be easily replaced if I change my mind. The 12v outlet I have is a marine grade outlet, so it should be fine for rain and snow.
Anyone any experience with this location? Thoughts? Concerns?
Thanks for the input!
Okki
