Can anyone recommend a fabricator that's worth a damn here in Eastern NC?

The place I purchased round tubing from has not impressed me one bit. All I needed was four 90 degree bends. I made the request thursday promised a monday complete date (holiday weekend blah blah blah).

I called today and I got "What? 90 degree what now? You know where we are located? You brought us tubing?"

Yup, not impressed :boom:

Looks like East Coast Gear Supply is a couple hours from you. They may be able to help.

Thanks, I'll have to check it out.

Luckily the company got the tubes bent today, the soon to be wife picked them up as I'm at work and they close at 1600, closed on weekends. Seems like the norm out here.

Not sure if they do a lot of custom fab work for customers, but they are THE place to get re-geared thirds. I have purchased through them and I live on the opposite side of the country. Top notch company!

Take a look at budbuilt.com as well.

Just out of curiosity how much did you pay for said bends, and tubing?

16ga 1" tubing was $36 for 40'. To cut 10' down to four 2.5' pieces and bend was $15. Which reminds me the fiance said they never charged her when she picked up the bent tubing... I need to go square that away.
