Fabtech Dirt Logic 2.5 Coil Over FTS26057-- Are they Any Good?

I just impulse purchased a set of these:

This sounds crazy, but I mistakenly thought they were rebranded ICON coil overs? After taking a closer look at the specs they seem to be totally different construction from the ICONs. Confused with all the different manufacturers of Fabtech coil overs, fox, saw, etc...

I am wondering if anyone has experience with these new Fabtech Coilovers, or knows who makes them?

I know that Fabtech does not have the best reputation, hoping these new coilovers are better than their old stuff?

They should be arriving in a few days, I have my fingers crossed.

I believe Sway Away manufacture the dirt logic series shocks for Fabtec.

Donahoe Racing was taken over by Icon. Guess the owner of Donahoe turned out to be a pedo.

Huh. Well at least they look better than the cheesy blue fabtechs. And we all know, if it looks good than it must performe awesome! But seriously, maybe they have improved their quality lately. If you do keep them we will all be curios to know how they performance

Theses are fabtech Dirtlogic coilovers, old from what i can tell. Got them off a Tacoma... Ride pretty damn good to me. On road they feel like friends icons and kings. Offroad they're not quite the same but I don't have resi's like my buddy's do lol...

Well, I just got off the phone with Fabtech and they couldnt even give me the spring rates :loco: they said, call back on monday when our shock department is in.
What they were able to tell me is that they are made in house and the springs are made by eibach.
These are the specs from Fabtechs site:

• 7/8" NitroSteel® Black Piston Rod
• Adjustable Coilover Construction
• 5/8" Spherical Ball Mounting Ends

All springs are eibach pretty much.

You may need to research but I thought the top hats slightly different and could cause control arm contact or something. I just remember others talking about swapping the top hats until they finally made 4runner specific coilover setups.

Coil bucket adaptor should work. My Kings (2.5x8) are the same way.

I thought all the Tacoma and 4Runner Coilovers were interchangeable, guess I was also wrong about this Scheisse!

I guess an adapter like stated above will work.

So the coilovers made by Icon, Toytec, fox etc... seem to be the same for Tacoma and 4Runner, are you sure the top hats on these are different than what is needed for our 4Runners? Am I missing something?

tacoma and 4runner mounts are a little different. the 3 mounting holes are clocked about 15º from each other. Some companies make a universal top mount others, like fox, don't. If they don't line up you will have to re
drill the coil bucket mounts.
