Fact or Fiction?

I think there is quite a bit of uncertainty being bandied around in the Trump and Clinton threads. This thread will be fact, NOT OPINION, based. If someone posts opinion or conjecture and someone else knows it's wrong then post a credible source to back it up. They can be good or bad facts but they must be facts!

Here are two examples:

Clinton is stupid.
That's false. She comes nowhere near the definition of stupid.

Clinton was on the Board of Walmart.
That's true along with all the ramifications Walmart brings.

Now let's see what you guys got.

Benghazi and Arab Spring are linked directly to Clinton during her term as Secretary of State.

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi dropped her lawsuit against Trump University four days after receiving a check for $25k from Trump's foundation.

Your wording insinuates that the $25K was somehow the reason for the dropped lawsuit. Who knows the truth but you could have written "Florida AG drops Trump U lawsuit due to insufficient evidence" and it would have been just as accurate. Here Florida AG asked Trump for donation before nixing fraud case

I guess I don't feel the need to defend Trump like you do. My post is factually correct per your guideline, insinuation or otherwise.

"Claiming a person can't do their job because of their race is sort of like the textbook definition of a racist comment," Paul Ryan said of Donald J. Trump's recent comments about a judge.

That's true lol. When you stop and think about it for a minute it's amazing what you can do with words.

I actually despise Trump. I despise Clinton even more though. Why?

Trump Fact:
1. Petulant demeanor
2. Has no real plan that he has made public
3. Has no filter
4. Because of his position and money has nothing is common with normal people.
5. Racist or Bigot - Yep. So is everyone else.
6. Some of his ideas are just bizarre.

Clinton Fact
1. Bengazi epic fail. 4 Deaths
2. All State Dept email done from PC. Really? Can she be that dense?
3. Arab Spring
4. WalMart board member.
5. Huge Conflict of Interest with Clinton Foundation and accepting money from Middle east for that Foundation. Will let readers connect the dots.
6. She stood by (even cooperated) and let her husband make a mockery out of the institution of marriage. This is probably the biggest thing for me personally. I don't take a lot of things seriously in life but family, that includes children and spouse, are sacrosanct in my eyes. If you wanna screw around, get a divorce.

Everyone is a racist? On the level of Trump?

You're really going to tell us that is a fact?

You haven't responded in the last Clinton/Trump thread you made. Do we need another?

Is there an official LEVEL for racism? On a scale of 1-10? On a Defcon type level? How does one define "level of Trump"? Compare to what standard? Gandi? Rosa Parks? Muhammad Ali?

Unless there is an official gauge or definition of different grades of racism, you asking that is irrelevant, especially in this thread...and thus the "level of Trump" is an opinion by an individual...and like buttholes, everyone has an opinion, right? :)

You can't be a little racist. There are no "levels." You are getting that confused with "acceptance" of which there certainly are levels.

For example: Let's say you broke the speed limit in my community and were going 35 in a 25 mph zone. Oh well, I accept that and it's no big deal because you weren't endangering anyone really. Probably just weren't paying attention. Now let's say you broke the speed limit in my community and were going 125 mph in a 25 mph zone. Now I'm outraged and the whole community is too. You did so willfully and endangered everyone with your reckless behavior except that group of kids who think you are cool by doing that. Both are ticketable and the same offenses but the acceptance level is different.

The threads are different. One was for a vote and this is supposed to be for facts only.

Much of the following does not adhere to your definition of 'Facts', comments inline.

Trump Fact:
1. Petulant demeanor - (That is a subjective description based on your opinion. I happen to agree but that is still our opinion)

2. Has no real plan that he has made public
3. Has no filter - (This is conjecture, perhaps everything he says is carefully calculated for purposes of misdirection etc. that we may not fully comprehend.)

4. Because of his position and money has nothing is common with normal people. - (Unless you hang out with him on a regular basis this is an assumption. For all we know, when he goes home at night he is just a regular guy that happens to have high goals for himself and gaudy taste.)

5. Racist or Bigot - Yep. So is everyone else.

6. Some of his ideas are just bizarre.

Clinton Fact
1. Bengazi epic fail. 4 Deaths - (This is a situation with a lot of moving parts and can't be considered entirely any one persons fault.)

2. All State Dept email done from PC. Really? Can she be that dense? - (not the exact facts of this case, it wasn't 'all' e-mail and it was being housed on a 'server' at her home. Not necessarily the most secure situation, but not necessarily unsecured either. And, yes she can make some major errors in judgement to be sure.)

3. Arab Spring - (Yes, it is a fact that a phenomenon commonly known as the 'arab spring' occurred. However, there are way too many variables that played into that situation to lay at all on her shoulders.)

- (Again, a 'mockery' is a subjective opinion of her behavior. In some peoples eyes she stood by her spouse for better or for worse and showed that, like millions of other people, they were strong enough to get through a bad mistake and make things work out. I personally think this shows a lot of strength on her part, not letting an indiscretion, even in the court of public opinion, tear apart her marriage. I, for one, don't feel I am high and mighty enough to impose my beliefs about love, relationships and marriage on anyone else. In fact, a little more forgiving and a lot less judging would go a long way toward fixing a lot of all of our problems.)

I guess you guys are right. We are ALL racist. To exactly the same degree. I know I've got my Klan card somewhere.

Watching you guys twist logic to allow yourselves to support Donald is quite a sight to behold.

I don't know about racist, but I am definitely prejudiced against bully's, loudmouths, know-it-alls, fascists, ego maniacs, megalomaniacs and narcissistic sociopaths, especially if they are potentially in a position of leadership that can directly effect my quality of life.

I agree with some of your edits. There was not one instance of screwing around, there were several and on top of that it messed up a lot of women's lives. That is a fact I cannot tolerate. One could be a lapse. 17 is is a problem.

Those "facts" I listed above is what is shaping MY perception of who would be the least bad for our country.

That is correct. There are no degrees. This is again not acceptance or judgement. If you steal you steal. A judge decides what degree but stealing is stealing. Being a racist is being a racist. You can judge if you like.

Fact: Bill Clinton lied to the American people about the Monica Lewinsky affair.
Fact: Hillary Clinton was fired from Watergate Investigative committee for lying and unethical behavior.

did you also despise bush , since he was quite connected with both bin laden and Hussein.

Part of the institution of marriage is that marriage is for life, through good and bad, she did the right thing as a wife by standing by her husband.

Then you must be prejudiced against our current President and both candidates, right?

especially if they are potentially in a position of leadership that can directly effect my quality of life.

Ask John Christopher Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone S. Woods, and Glen Doherty if Hilary affected their "quality of life."

Can you honestly say that you have aren't racist? Never had a racist thought, or laughed at a racist joke?

I agree that we are all racist. It doesn't matter to what extent, racism is racism. Kinda like lying is lying, whether it's telling your wife she doesn't look fat in that dress or telling the public you didn't have sex with that woman...
