Factory (style) Fog Light Switch- Fits knock-out!

I suck at wiring. However, got my ditch lights hooked up, but cant figure out where to hook up the wire that illuminates the switch.

Any help is appreciated.

Hey so you should be splicing into the green wire of any factory stock OEM switch close by. This will be connected to the blue wire on the AOB switch. See the diagram for reference.

no worries at all , I appreciate your help!

Ok so I finally got sometime to look at my switch and from what you've told me as long as the blue and silver wire is coming from a relay should be like this...from the AOB switch. Theres is going to be some splicing and soldering if desired. Its super easy and Youtube can be your friend!!!

AOB Switch

GREEN WIRE goes to a trigger source. I used an empty fuse slot that is only on when the vehicle is powered(doesnt have to be started). Use a add-a-circuit that can be bought from any autostore or walmart and plug it into the empty slot between KDSS and TOWING BACKUP.

RED WIRE goes to either BLUE or SILVER wire coming from the relay. So one switch will control the back light and other will control the main lights.

BLUE WIRE goes to the wiper warmer switch. This will illuminate the switch when its triggered and on, since this is triggered by the vehicles power this light will always be on.

BLACK WIRE goes to the wiper warmer switch grey/black wire or any ground source. The interior chassis is also ground so you can use that too.


Please lmk how it goes. This should solve your issue as long as the blue/silver wires are to activate the relay.
